AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE SERIES OF SEMINARS ON PROBATION AND SELECTED AREAS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CRIMINAL LAW.

The Supreme Court of the Philippines, U.P. Law Center, Department of Justice and Probation Administration will jointly sponsor a series of “Seminars on Probation and Selected Areas for Improvement of the Criminal Law” to be held on the different dates and places, as follows:

August 1-5, 1977
August 15-18 1977
September 12-16, 1977
September 26-30, 1977
Philippine International Convention Center, Manila
October 10-14, 1977 Magellan Hotel, Cebu City
October 24-28, 1977 PNB Social Hall, Bacolod City
November 7-11, 1977 Insular/Maguindanao Hall, Zamboanga City
November 21-25, 1977 Alta Tierra Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City

The attendance of government prosecutors all over the country in the said seminar scheduled at the city nearest their office is hereby authorized on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation, per diems and a seminar fee of ₱65.00 per participant, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127, series of 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972. Participants residing or stationed within the site of the seminar shall be entitled to reasonable expenses for transportation and seminar fees only.

The participants shall submit to their respective heads of office a complete report on their attendance or participation in the seminar as prescribed under Memorandum Circular No. 937 dated June 10, 1977. Likewise within the same period, a report and evaluation of the seminar, copy furnished the Budget Commission, shall be submitted to this Office, including a list of participants showing their respective positions and offices.1aшphi1
