AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE MANAGEMENT GUILD (PHILMAG) TO HOLD A CONFERENCE-WORKSHOP ON COST REDUCTION AND ENJOINING ATTENDANCE THEREIN.

The Philippine Management Guild (PHILMAG), a new organization dedicated to management improvement in the government, will hold a conference-workshop on the subject: “Effecting Cost Reduction Through Improved Resource Management”. The program will be held at the Camp Aguinaldo Officers’ Country Club in Quezon City on Tuesday, July 19, 1977, at 8:30 a.m.

Inasmuch as this undertaking falls within the purview of our National Cost Reduction Program, all heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices are hereby authorized to send their personnel who are members of PHILMAG to the conference-workshop. Those attending shall do so on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation, per diems and a conference fee of ?100.00 per participant, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127, series of 1973 subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

It is understood that participants residing or stationed within Metropolitan Manila shall be entitled to reasonable expenses for transportation and conference fees only.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report on their attendance in the conference-workshop within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1aшphi1
