AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE 11TH ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WORLD WAR VETERANS LEAGUE, INC.

The Government Employees World War Veterans League, Inc. will hold its 11th Annual General Assembly in Cebu City on April 13-15, 1977, on the theme: “The Role of the GEWWVL in National Development.”

All heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and office, as well as government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than (2) delegates each, who are members of the League, to the Assembly. This limitation as to number shall not apply to the officers of the League. The attendance of the participants shall be on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation, per diems and a registration fee not exceeding ?300.00 per participant, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973 as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127, series of 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.1aшphi1

It is understood that the participants residing or stationed in Cebu City shall be entitled to reasonable expenses for transportation and registration fee only.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the assembly within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.
