[ Memorandum Circular No. 1025, November 25, 1977 ]

PROHIBITING ANY GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL AND EMPLOYEE FROM ACCEPTING PRIVATE EMPLOYMENT IN ANY CAPACITY WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORITY OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT.

For the information and guidance of all concerned, no official or employee of the government shall obtain or accept employment in any capacity in any private agency, Office of the President.

In this connection, all officials and employees now employed in any private agency, office or institution, on a part-time basis or otherwise, are directed to submit to this Office their names, the private employment, and the hours devoted to it.

Any violation hereof shall subject the erring official or employee to appropriate administrative action.1aшphi1

This Circular takes effect immediately.
