AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE SEMINAR ON SOCIAL SCIENCE TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE MAN AND THE BIOSPHERE PROGRAMME.
The Man and the Biosphere Inter-Agency Committee on Ecological Studios in cooperation with UNESCO, National Research Council of the Philippines, Environmental Center of the Philippines and the Philippine Social Science Council, will conduct a seminar on social science at the Intramuros Hall, Ramada Hotel, Manila, on August 4-5, 1977, on the theme: “Understanding the relevance of Social Sciences with Environment.”
The attendance of the MAB Project Directorate as well as project members in the seminar is hereby authorized on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation and a seminar fee of ?50.00 per participant, chargeable against the appreciations of their respective offices in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 25, 1975, as Implemented by COA General Circular No. 127, series of 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.1aшphi1
The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a complete report on their attendance or participation in the seminar as prescribed under Memorandum Circular No. 987 dated June 10, 1977. Likewise, within the same period, the Chairman of the seminar shall submit to this Office a report and evaluation of the seminar, including a list of participants indicating their respective positions and agencies.
