URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE FOURTH REGIONAL CONFERENCE ON MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT IN LEGAZPI CITY.
The Philippine Council of Management (PHILCOMAN) will sponsor the Fourth Regional Conference on Management Development to be held on August 27 & 28, 1976 at the Mayon Imperial Hotel in Legazpi City, The theme of the Conference is “Accelerating Development for the Bicol Region”.
Management experts, practitioners, educators, and government leaders from the Government and the private sector will participate as speakers, discussants and participants. The Regional Conference will explore the total development of the Bicol Region in the light of the rapid political and social changes in the region as call as the new priority areas, growing opportunities and expending responsibilities for the Management sector in development planning and implementation of the NEDA Master Plan.
The Conference will enable participants to gain new insights into recent trends in business management and public administration as well as management of resources in total developmental activity.
In view hereof, all heads of the various Regional Offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby enjoined to authorize attendance in the Conference of selected participants on official time, not exceeding five (5) from their respective offices, provided that no government expense will be involved in connection therewith.
The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance with their observations and comments on the deliberations in the Conference.1aшphi1
