[ Memorandum Circular No. 923, July 27, 1976 ]
AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE NATIONAL CONGRESS SPONSORED BY THE COUNCIL OF TECHNOLOGY AND ALLIED SCIENCES OF THE PHILIPPINES (COTASP) ON JULY 30 TO AUGUST 1, 1976.
The Council of technology and Allied Sciences of the Philippines (COTASP) will hold a National Congress on July 30-31 and August 1, 19761 on the theme, “SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE PHILIPPINES TODAY.”
In view of the relevance of the theme of the Congress to our present development efforts especially in the field of science and technology, the following government agencies are hereby authorized to send not more than two (2) representatives to the Congress on official time with expenses for transportation, per diems and convention fees, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973 as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127 dated November 27, 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No.1aшphi1 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972:

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
