MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 915, June 23, 1976 ] AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE FOOD AND NUTRITION FESTIVAL TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE NATIONAL NUTRITION COUNCIL IN JULY 1976 IN OBSERVANCE OF THE NUTRITION MONTH. The National Nutrition Council will hold a Food and Nutrition festival at the Food Terminal Inc. in July 1976 in observance of the Nutrition Month on the theme “Maximization of Our Local Resources.” The objective of the festival is to provide both government and private agencies/institutions involved in food production the opportunity to inform the public of the progress of their research and the range of their products. In view of the significance of the festival in the extensive food production arid development programs of government, all heads of department, bureaus and agencies, including government-owned or controlled corporations, as well as educational institutions, are hereby authorized to send their employees and students at all levels (elementary, secondary and college) to attend the said festival during office/school hours for at least one (1) day, the specific date thereof to be determined by their respective agency heads, without being marked absent from their respective offices/classes.1aшphi1 All government employees concerned shall submit a report to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance in the festival within fifteen (15) days from the date specified for the purpose This Circular takes effect immediately.
