PRESCRIBING THE POLICY GOVERNING ISSUANCE OF PERMITS TO OPEN SLAUGHTERHOUSE IN CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES.

In view of the need to maintain a uniform, high standard of sanitation in the operation and maintenance of slaughterhouses throughout the country, the President has today ordered that no permit shall be given to anyone to open a slaughterhouse without the prior approval of the national government. All City and Municipal Mayors are hereby required to comply strictly with this Circular in their respective jurisdictions.1aшphi1

This Circular takes effect immediately.
