[ Memorandum Circular No. 882-A, November 27, 1975 ]

AMENDING THE LAST PARAGRAPH OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 606 DATED OCTOBER 21, 1972, ENTITLED “MAKING CERTAIN CLARIFICATIONS CONCERNING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 20 DATED OCTOBER 12, 1972.”

The last paragraph of Memorandum Circular No. 606 dated October 21, 1972, is hereby amended to read as follows:

The prohibition against increase in rental contained in Presidential Decree No. 20, however, shall not apply to a case where a dwelling unit or land is vacated during the effectivity of the decree and a new tenant occupies or leases the same.1aшphi1 The owner of such dwelling unit or land and the prospective lessee may determine the terms and conditions of their contract provide, however, that the rental which may be agreed upon shall not exceed ?300 a month.
