AMENDING MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 868 DATED OCTOBER 2, 1975, AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE FIRST WORLD SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION CONGRESS ON NOVEMBER 16-21, UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE SAFETY ORGANIZATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC.

To effect a truly nationwide coverage of the benefits of the Congress and enable the maximum dissemination of information and other materials through echo seminars throughout the Philippines, the third paragraph of Memorandum Circular No. 868, dated October 2, 1975, is hereby amended to read as follows:

“All heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus, and offices, and branches – national regional and local, including government-owned or controlled corporations are hereby authorized to send each at least one (1) but not exceeding three (3) representatives to the Congress on official time with reasonable expenses, which shall include the Congress fee of ?350.00 per delegate and others to cover board, lodging and transportation allowances for the entire duration of the Congress chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.1aшphi1

“It is understood, however, that the total member of representatives to the congress shall not exceed 500.”
