AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE OF REGIONAL ACCOUNTANTS OR HEADS OF REGIONAL ACCOUNTING UNITS, BOOKKEEPERS AND REGIONAL/RESIDENT AUDITORS IN THE REGIONAL SEMINARS TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE NATIONAL ACCOUNTING OFFICE, BUDGET COMMISSION
Regional seminars will be held in the cities of Baguio, Legaspi, Quezon, Iloilo, Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga and San Fernando, Pampanga.
All Heads of Departments and Chiefs of Bureaus and Offices are hereby authorized to send to the Regional Seminars their respective regional accountants or heads of regional accounting units, accountants, Regional/Resident Auditors and bookkeepers starting November 18, 1975. Their attendance shall be on official time with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, as well as seminar fees chargeable against the funds of their respective agencies, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127 dated November 27, 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.
It is understood, however, that participants in the seminars residing or stationed within the regional centers shall be entitled to reasonable expenses for transportation only.1aшphi1
The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance in the seminars within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.
