URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE FIRST NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON GOOD GOVERNMENT ON NOVEMBER 24-26, 1975
The Focus Philippines and the Civil Service Commission will jointly sponsor the First National Symposium on Good Government to be held at the Social Security Auditorium, East Avenue, Quezon City, on November 24-26,1975.
The Symposium aims to increase public awareness of the significance of good government in promoting active involvement in, and stronger commitment to, the programs of the New Society. It is designed to stimulate among government officials and employees a dynamic consciousness of their individual contribution to the making of good government.
In view of the importance of the symposium and the opportunities it will afford government personnel in articulating work able concepts of good government, all heads of departments, offices and agencies of the national and local governments, including government-owned or controlled corporations, in the Greater Manila area are hereby urged to send at least two (2) representatives to the symposium on official time. It is understood, however, that no fees will be charged and participants shall be entitled only to reasonable expenses for transportation, chargeable against the funds of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual audit.
The participants shall submit their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the symposium within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1aшphi1
