MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 865, September 12, 1975 ] REQUIRING ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE GREATER MANILA AREA TO ATTEND THE CEREMONIES ON THE OCCASION OF THE 3RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE NEW SOCIETY AT THE LUNETA ON SEPTEMBER 19, 1975. All government officials and employees in the Greater Manila Area are hereby required to attend the ceremonies at the Luneta on the occasion of the 3rd Anniversary of the New Society on September 19, 1975. The ceremonies start at 7:00 a.m., with the nation-wide hoisting of the Philippine Flag and wreath-laying at the Rizal Monument. The occasion will be highlighted by an address of His Excellency, the President of the Philippines. Appropriate programs will be held in the afternoon and multi-combo concert and martial arts performances will be presented in the evening at the Luneta under the sponsorship of the Department of Tourism.1aшphi1 In view of the significance of the event which underscores our people’s commitment to preserve the nation’s integrity, it is imperative that the ceremonies commemorating the occasion be witnessed and participated in by the aforementioned officials and employees. Accordingly, all heads of departments, bureaus, and offices in the Greater Manila are hereby enjoined to see to it that the provisions of this Circular are strictly complied with.
