AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE NATIONAL CERAMICS SEMINAR TO BE HELD AT THE DR. P. J. GARCIA MEMORIAL HALL, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COMPOUND, MANILA, ON SEPTEMBER 8-10, 1975.

The Philippine Ceramics Council, in cooperation with the Department of Education and Culture, Ceramics Association of the Philippines and the National Institute of Science and Technology, will hold a National Ceramics Seminar on the theme “Ceramics for Development” at the Dr. P. J. Garcia Memorial Hall, National Institute of Science and Technology Compound, Taft Avenue, corner Herran, Manila, on September 8-10, 1975.

The objectives of the Seminar are to develop talents of individual through ceramics; to encourage the use of local materials; to identify areas for technical assistance; and to help create bigger markets for locally produced ceramics articles.

In view of the relevance of the Seminar to the National development efforts of government, the Department of Education and Culture is hereby authorized to send instructors and school officials of public vocational trade-technical schools and colleges which shall in no case exceed the total number of sixty (60) participants to the aforesaid Seminar on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation and per diems, including registration fee of ₱60.00 per participant, pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 3847, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, and as implemented by Commission on Audit (COA) General Circular No. 127, series of 1973, chargeable against the funds of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

It is understood that the participants who are residing of stationed within the city where the seminar will be held shall be entitled to transportation expenses and registration fee only.1aшphi1

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance/participation in the Seminar within 30 days after the termination thereof.
