AUTHORIZING THE SENDING OF DELEGATES TO THE FIRST NATIONAL CONVENTION OF PUBLIC WORKS ENGINEERS OF THE PHILIPPINES.
The Bureau of Public Works Association of District Engineers (BPW-ADE) will hold the First National Convention of BPW Engineers on September 18-20, 1975 (tentative date) at the Philippine Village Hotel, Pasay City, on the theme “The Dynamic and Effective Involvement of Public Worlds Engineers in the Socio-Economic Progress of the New Society.”
The main feature of the convention will be discussions on the role of the Public Works Engineers and their effective involvement in accomplishing the desired goals of the New Society in its massive infrastructure program.1aшphi1
In view hereof, all Division Chiefs in the Central Office of the Bureau of Public Works, Regional Directors, District Engineers, Flood Control System Engineers, and Ex-Officio Public Works City Engineers are hereby authorized to send at least three (5) delegates to participate in this convention who shall attend the same on official time with entitlement to reasonable expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and convention fees; provided that participants who are stationed in the Metropolitan Manila shall be entitled to transportation and convention fees only, all chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
The delegates shall submit to their agency heads a report of attendance and participation within 30 days following the closing of the convention.
