AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE TENTH ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION SEMINAR OF THE GOVERNMENT SUPPLY OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. (GSOAPI).

The Government Supply Officers’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (GSOAPI) with the technical assistance of the Departmentof General Services, the Civil Service Commission, and the Bureau of Supply Coordination, will hold its 10th Annual National Convention-Seminar at the Philippine Village Hotel, Paranaque, Rizal, on September 3-5, 1975, on the theme:”Effective Supply Management – A Tool for National Progress.”

National and local offices including government owned or controlled corporations are hereby authorized to send not more than three (3) of their supply officers or property custodians, who are members of the GSOAPI, but not exceeding a total of 500 delegates, to the convention-seminar on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation, per diems and seminar fees, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344- dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127 dated November 27, 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.It is understood that participants residing within the Greater Manila Area shall be entitled to reasonable expenses for transportation and seminar fees only.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report on their attendance in the con­vention-seminar within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.Likewise, within the same period, a report and evaluation of the convention-seminar should be submitted to this Office. The report thereon should include a financial statement of income and expenses duly audited by a Certified Public Accountant not connected with the Association.1aшphi1
