ENJOINING ALL AGENCIES OF THE GOVERNMENT TO COOPERATE WITH THE PHILIPPINE LAW OF THE SEA PANEL.
The United Nations General Assembly convened, starting December 1973, the Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea for the purpose of drafting and codifying comprehensive international rules relating to order in the oceans.1aшphi1 Realizing the vital importance to the Republic of the Philippines of the articles that may be adopted and the decisions that may be arrived at in the deliberations m this conference, the President has appointed a permanent panel to represent our country in the sessions of the conference. There has also been created an Inter-Agency advisory Committee for the purpose of deliberating on various subjects and issues under discussion in the conference.
All agencies of the government, including government owned and controlled corporations, are hereby enjoined to render all possible assistance to and cooperation to both the Advisory Committee and the Philippine Panel on the Law of the Sea Conference. All agencies shall, when requested, furnish information or data including statistics, and offer their facilities to the panel.
