AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE SERIES OF SEMINARS ON RECORDS MANAGEMENT TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE BUREAU OF RECORDS MANAGEMENT.
The Bureau of Records Management, under the direction of the Department of General Services, will hold a series of seminars on Records Management for Records Officers. The seminar shall be scheduled at the regional centers and on the dates which shall be announced by the Director of Records Management upon prior consultation with the Secretary of General Services.
All heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and officers, both national and local, are hereby authorized to send their Records Officers to the seminar for their region on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation, per diems and seminar fees, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127 dated November 27, 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.
It is understood that participants in the seminar to be conducted in the Greater Manila Area as well as those residing or stationed within the regional centers in the case of the regional seminars shall be entitled to reasonable expenses for transportation and seminar fees only.
The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report on their attendance in the seminar within thirty (3) days after termination thereof.1aшphi1
