AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF CERT IN GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND THE EMPLOYEES IN THE 10TH CONVENTION-SEMINAR OF THE ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTANTS OF THE PHILIPPINES (AGAP), INC.
A convention-seminar will be held in Greater Manila Area on April 23-25, 1975, sponsored by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP), Inc., on the theme: “Creative Accounting for Progressive Management.”
The principal objectives of the Convention-Seminar are, among others, the following (a) To keep abreast the participants on changes and development in government accounting, budgeting and auditing; and (b) To crystallize proposals towards the improvement of the present accounting system to keep up with the fast pace of agency management under the New Orders.
All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send to the Convention-Seminar their respective Chief Accountants or the Heads of their Accounting Units who are members of the (AGAP), in additions to the officials and personnel who are directly in charge of the various arrangements and or preparations for the Convention-Seminar. Their attendance shall be in official time, with reasonable expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and seminar fees, chargeable against the funds of their respective agencies, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. The delegates who are stationed in Greater Manila Area shall be entitled to seminar fees and reasonable transportation expenses only.
The participants shall submit a report to their respective agency heads on their participation and attendance in the Convention-Seminar within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1aшphi1
