[ Memorandum Circular No. 811, March 14, 1975 ]

AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE OF CITIES OF FIRE DEPARTMENTS OF MAJOR TOWNS AND CITIES OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVES IN THE FIRST NATIONAL FIRE SUPPRESSION ASSEMBLY ON APRIL 14, TO 20, 1975, SPONSORED BY THE FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. (FEMAP).

The Firefighting Equipment Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (FEMAP), an organization of local manufacturing of firefighting equipment, will sponsor the holding of the First National Fire Suppression Assembly on April 14-20, 1975, to give more emphasis and full meaning to the observance of the Fire Prevention Month. It will also sponsor a parade, a symposium, exhibits and firefighting demonstrations.

The Assembly will underscore the importance of fostering among our countrymen greater awareness in the preventive and protective measures against the occurrence of destructive fires and resulting calamities.

In view of the relevance of the Assembly to the observance of the Fire Prevention Month, all chiefs of fire departments of major towns and cities, or their representatives, are hereby authorized to attend the First National Fire Suppression Assembly on official time only, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593, series of 1972.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the Assembly within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1aшphi1
