MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 797, January 29, 1975 ] AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE SYMPOSIUM-FORUM ON THE ULTIMATE TAX AMNESTY UNDER PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 631, TO BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 12, 1975, AT THE SOCIAL HALL OF THE DBP BUILDING, MAKATI, RIZAL The Confederation of Government Employees Organizations (COGEO), the Philippine Government Employees Association (PGEA), the Philippine Association of Technical Assistance Participants (PATAP), the Society of Filipino Scholars to the United Kingdom (SOFISUK), the Philippine Public School Teachers Association (PPSTA), the Bureau Directors Association (BUDIRAS) and the Personnel Officers Association of the Philippines (POAP), in cooperation with the Bureau of Internal Revenue, will jointly sponsor a “Symposium-Forum on the Ultimate Tax Amnesty” under Presidential Decree No. 631, to be held on February 12, 1975, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Social Hall of the DBP Building, Makati, Rizal. The symposium-forum will discuss and clarify provisions of Presidential Decree No. 631, “granting an ultimate tax amnesty on untaxed income and/or wealth earned or acquired in 1973 and prior years and immunity from investigation of the statement of assets, liabilities, and net worth required by Presidential Decree No. 379,” and Revenue Regulations No. 1-75 implementing said decree.1aшphi1 Considering the advantages of availing of the benefits of this decree, officers and members of the organizations affiliated with the COGEO and of the other sponsoring organizations, and heads of bureaus and offices and administrative, personnel and legal officers are hereby authorized to attend the symposium on official time.
