MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 795, January 17, 1975 ] AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE PUBLIC LECTURE SERIES 1975 OF THE PHILIPPINE SOCIOLOGICAL SOCIETY, INC. The Philippine Sociological Society Inc. will conduct a series of public lectures on the theme “Strategies for Development”, on Thursday evenings, 6:00-8:00 p.m., January 16 thru February 20, at the San Miguel Auditorium, 6766 Ayala Avenue, Makati. It will look at programs and structures being evolved and utilized by the government and private agencies to achieve the nation’s developmental goals. All heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send their selected officials and employees involved in the planning and implementation of various development programs to the lecture series on official time, but no expenditure of whatever nature of government funds in connection therewith shall be authorized, pursuant to the provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972. The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the lecture within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1aшphi1 By authority of the President: (Sgd.)
