ENJOINING ALL HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS, BUREAUS, OFFICES, MANAGING HEADS OF GOVERNMENT-OWNED AND/OR CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS OR OFFICES, PROVINCIAL, CITY AND MUNICIPAL EXECUTIVES AND OTHER CONCERNED TO EXERCISE DISCIPLINE IN THE USE OF GOVERNMENT VEHICLES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ENERGY CONSERVATION OBJECTIVES OF GOVERNMENT.

In furtherance of the oil conservation program f the government, which resulted last year in a reduction f more than 10% in gasoline consumption, it is hereby directed that discipline in the use of government vehicles continue to be exercised in accordance with GAO General Circular No. 26 dated July 28, 1953; GAO Memorandum Circulars No. 417 dated July 21, 1960, No. 405 dated September 22, 1959, and No. 521 dated October 5, 1965; and Provincial Auditor’s Memorandum No. 210 dated April 20, 1959.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.1aшphi1
