MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 786, January 6, 1975 ] AMENDING MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 437 DATED FEBRUARY 22, 1971 REVISING THE POLICY REGARDING THE GRANTING OF REPRESENTATION ALLOWANCES TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. In view of the abolition of the Presidential Arm on Community Development (PACD) whose functions of which were absorbed by the newly created Department of Local Government and Community Development (DLGCD), Memorandum Circular No. 437 dated February 22, 1971 revising the policy regarding the granting of representation allowances to local government officials at the rates fixed therein, is hereby amended so as to change the phrase “Provincial and City Development Officers of the PACD” in the Provincial and City Governments levels to “Provincial and City Development Officers of the DLGCD,” and to include the Municipal Development Officers of the DLGCD as among the “other officials” under the Municipal Government level indicated in the aforesaid Circular.1aшphi1 By authority of the President: (Sgd.)
