AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON POPULATION TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE COMMISSION ON POPULATION ON DECEMBER 11-13, 1974

The Commission on Population will hold a National Conference on Population on the theme “Toward a Plan of Action” in Manila on December 11-13, 1974.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷

The Conference, conceived to cap Philippine involvement in the global observance of the World Population Year, is geared to bring about more extensive involvement of all sectors in population activities as well as work toward the formulation on a National Population Plan of Action.

In view of the relevance of the conference to the government’s present efforts in dealing with the population issue, all provincial governors and city mayors are hereby authorized to attend the said conference on official time with expenses for transportation, per diems, subsistence and lodging pursuant to the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127, series of 1973, chargeable against the funds of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

It is understood that the per diems for the participants to the conference will be chargeable against the World Population Year budget.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the conference within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.
