AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE FIRST NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TEE REHABILITATION OF THE DISABLED ORGANIZED UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE PHILIPPINE FOUNDATION FOR THE REHABILITATION OF DISABLED, INC.
The Philippine Foundation for the Rehabilitation of Disabled, Inc., with the cooperation of the Departments of Education and Culture, Health, Labor and Social Welfare, will hold its First National Conference on the Rehabilitation of the Disabled at the SSS Building, Quezon City, on December 12-14, 1974, on the theme: “The Disabled in Nation Building.”
The conference will serve as a forum where some 700 representatives from the government, international, professional, and socio-civic sectors will be drawn together to strive at a cooperative approach to common problems and concerns, share and learn from each other experiences and discuss new trends in the rehabilitation of the disabled.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
All heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send their selected officials and employees to the conference on official time, but no expenditure of whatever nature of government funds in connection therewith shall be authorized, pursuant to the provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 593 dated August 8, 1972.
The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the conference within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.
