AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION PROGRAM AND OTHER SHORT-TERM COURSES OF THE MANAGEMENT EDUCATION COUNCIL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES

The Management Education Council of the University of the Philippines, in collaboration with the College of Public Administration, the Philippine Executive Academy, and the Local Government Center, all of the University of the Philippines Systems, has formulated an executive development orientation course and other short-term courses on specific areas of management to be offered in the Western Visayas and other regions.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷

These courses seek to being together administrators of public agencies and private companies to discuss and upgrade competence in their respective roles in the context of approved development plans and programs for the regions.

All heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and offices, both national and local, including government-owned or controlled corporations are hereby authorized to nominate senior executives and other management personnel to attend and participate in these courses. The attendance of the participants shall be on official time, but no expenditure of whatever nature of government funds in connection therewith shall be authorized, pursuant to the provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.
