MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 762, August 23, 1974 ] AUTHORIZING THE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF ALL LAW-ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES IN THE OBSERVANCE OF POLICE WEEK. Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1299 dated August 14, 1974, and in order that the people may appreciate fully the maintenance of peace and order in the country, all National and Local law-enforcement agencies are hereby authorized to participate actively in the observance of Police Week on official time and with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, all chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices subject to the availability of funds and usual accounting and auditing requirements.
