AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION FOR GOVERNMENT BUDGET ADMINISTRATION, INC. (PAGBA) TO HOLD A CONVENTION SEMINAR, AND ENJOINING ATTENDANCE THEREIN.
The Philippine Association for Government Budget Administration, Inc. (PAGBA) will hold a convention-seminar and workshop in Cebu City from November 20 to 22, 1974 on the theme: “The Budget Administrators and the Imperatives of Development.”
The objectives of the convention-seminar are to: (1) work out solutions to current problems in government budget administration and to set workable common goals within the context of the overall aspirations of the New Society; (2) identify the areas where budgetary reforms can be instituted so as to make the budget a truly effective instrument of development; and (3) generate a continuing interest in and deepen public awareness on the role of the budgeting profession in the attainment of national objectives.
All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned and controlled corporations and local governments, are hereby authorized to send their respective budget and fiscal officers and other employees involved in budget and fiscal administration to the convention-seminar on official time as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593, series of 1972, provided that no government expense will be involved in connection therewith.
The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report of their attendance in the convention-seminar within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
