MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 756, August 6, 1974 ] AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE FIRST MANILA CONFERENCE ON URBAN SOCIAL WELFARE. The City of Manila, through, the Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW) and the Community Chest Foundation of Metropolitan Manila. (CCFMM) will jointly sponsor the First Manila Conference on Urban Social Welfare to be held at the Pius XII Catholic Center, United Nations Avenue, Paco, Manila, on September 26-28, 1974, on the theme: “Social Welfare in Urban Development.” The conference aims to discuss the need for a relevant urban development program to improve the quality of life of people residing within the Metropolitan Manila Area. The mayors of the four (4) cities and seventeen (17) municipalities of the Metropolitan Manila Area are hereby authorized to send not more than three (3) participants each from their respective offices to the conference on official time.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷ The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report on their attendance in the conference within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.
