URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE SYMPOSIUM-WORKSHOP FOR TRAINING OFFICERS.

The Government Training Officers’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (GTOAP) will hold a symposium-workshop on the topic, “The Training Officer in today’s challenge towards development,” on May 28 and 29 in Manila, in observance of the “Manpower Training and Development Week,” as declared under Proclamation No. 1142 dated May 10, 1973.

In view hereof, all heads of departments, bureaus, offices, agencies and instrumentalities of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporation, are hereby authorized to send their Training Officers-Designate, or such other members of their office staff as are involved in the training of personnel, to the symposium-workshop of the GTOAP. Attendance therein shall be on official business and with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, as well as conference fees, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. It is understood, however, that participants who are stationed within the Greater Manila Area shall be entitled only to expenses for transportation, meals and workshop fees.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads within thirty (30) days upon the termination of the symposium-workshop a report on their attendance therein.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
