AUTHORIZING THE GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS (GACPA) TO HOLD A CONVENTION SEMINAR, AND ENJOINING ATTENDANCE THEREIN.

The Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA) will hold a convention-seminar in Iloilo City from June 13 to 15, 1974, on the theme: “The Government Certified Public Accountant and His Commitments to Meet the Challenges of the New Society.”

The objectives of the seminar are to: 1) enable participants to gain desired insights related to current developments in government financial and accounting systems; 2) inculcate in the minds of the participants their continuing responsibilities to help implement the economic development programs under the New Society; and 3) allow the GACPA to conduct a tax forum to assist interested participants in the fulfillment of their responsibilities and to develop tax consciousness among the public.

In view hereof, all those in the Government service who are regular members of the GACPA as well as other supervising personnel who have responsibilities connected with fiscal administration, and those in charge of the seminar, are hereby authorized to attend the convention-seminar on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation and incidental expenses, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads within 30 days upon the termination of the convention-seminar a report on their attendance therein.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
