[ Memorandum Circular No. 732, April 24, 1974 ]

CREATING A COMMITTEE TO ALLOCATE LOTS TO DESERVING SQUATTERS IN THE CITY OF BAGUIO

There is hereby created a Committee to be known as the “Special Committee on Baguio Squatters” to allocate lots inside the Holy Ghost Hill Subdivision (Proper) and other areas in the City of Baguio to deserving squatters, composed of the following:

The District Land Officer Chairman
Representative of the Presidential Assistant on Housing and Rehabilitation Agency (PAHRA) Member
Representative of the Office of the City Mayor Member

The Committee shall promulgate rules and regulations, subject to the approval, of the Director, of Lands, governing the allocation of lots in accordance with the provisions of the Public Land Laws, the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, and pertinent policy-guidelines of the Presidential Assistant on Housing and Rehabilitation Agency. It is authorized to review and/or revoke, with the approval of the Director of Lands who shall have control and supervision over the Committee, certificates of allocation issued- or granted by any committee or working group created after the dissolution of the” Special Committee on Baguio Squatters created under Executive Order No. 75, series of 1967.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷

The Committee may call upon any department, bureau, office or agencies or any instrumentality of the government for such assistance as may be needed for the accomplishment of its tasks.

The Committee shall submit its report within three (3) months from the date hereof.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 24th day of April in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-four.
