URGING ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION IN THE ONE-DAY WORKSHOP ON THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINER ORGANIZED BY THE PHILIPPINE SOCIETY FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT.
On May 31, 1974 training professionals will converge at the New Sulo Village Inn, Nayong Pilipino, for a Dialogue on “THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINER,” This is a one-day workshop organized by the Philippine Society for Training and Development (PSTD) aimed at professionalizing the field of manpower training and development. It will cap the five-day celebration of “Manpower Training and Development Week” scheduled on May 27-31, 1974 pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1142 dated May 10, 1973.
The PSTD forum may be viewed as a preliminary session in preparation for the First Asian Regional Conference on Training and Development to be hosted in the Philippines by the Philippine Society for Training and Development sometime in November.
In view of the timeliness of the forum, all heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned and controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send to the Workshop not more than two (2) of their training officers or such of their employees as are involved in human resources development, if any there be.
Their participation shall be on official business, with reasonable expenses for transportation and other necessary expenses incident thereto in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 3847, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, and implemented by General Circular No. 127, series of 1973, of the Comission on Audit, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual audit.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report of their attendance and participation in the Workshop within fifteen (15) days after the termination thereof.
