AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE NINTH ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION SEMINAR OF THE GOVERNMENT SUPPLY OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. (GSOAPI).
The Government Supply Officers’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (GSOAPI) with the technical assistance of the Department of General Services, the Civil Service Commission, and the Bureau of Supply Coordination will hold its 9th Annual National Convention-Seminar in Manila or suburbs on May 29-31, 1974, on the theme: “GSOAPI’s Response to Reforms Under the New Society.”
National and local offices including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than three (3) of their supply officers or property custodians, who are members of the GSOAPI, to the convention-seminar on official time with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, and seminar fees of not exceeding ?100.00 per participant, all chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127 dated November 27, 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 6, 1972. It is understood that the participants residing within the Greater Manila Area shall be entitled to reasonable expenses for transportation and seminar fees only.
The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the convention within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
