[ Memorandum Circular No. 724, April 16, 1974 ]
CREATING AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF PREPARATIONS AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE HOLDING OF THE 18TH SESSION OF THE GOVERNING COUNCIL OF THE UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (UNDP) TO BE HELD IN MANILA ON 5-24 JUNE 1974.
There is hereby created an Executive Committee to take charge of preparations and arrangements for the holding of the 18th Session of the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to be held in Manila on 5-24 June 1974.
The Committee shall be composed of the following:

The Committee shall provide directional guidance and render coordinating assistance to a Secretariat headed by a ranking official that will be formed by the Department of Foreign Affairs to service the requirements of the Session.
The Committee shall call upon the heads of departments, bureaus and offices for such assistance as it may need in the accomplishments of its mission.
This Circular shall take effect immediately.
This supersedes Memorandum Circular No. 706 dated February 20, 1974 regarding the same matter.
