AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE EIGHTH ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENT MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC.

The Association of Government Mechanical and Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. will hold its Eighth Annual Convention and General Assembly on May 11, 1974 in Manila.

In line with the Government’s policy of affording all mechanical and electrical engineers in the public service the opportunity to share among one another the benefits from the newly discovered knowledge and techniques, fresh approaches and modern methods in their respective professions, top the end that they may fully assist in the overall effort to promote rapid national development, all heads of government departments, bureaus and offices including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send their mechanical and electrical engineers to the convention, on official business and with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, as well as conference fees, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. It is understood, however, that participants who are stationed within the Greater Manila area shall be entitled only to expenses for transportation, meals and workshop fees.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads within thirty (30) days upon the termination of the convention a report on their attendance therein.
