AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE OF CERTAIN GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE 3-DAY CONVENTION-SEMINAR ON THE THEME “ACCOUNTANTS – TOWARDS A COMMON GOAL FOR PROGRESS” TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTANTS OF THE PHILIPPINES (AGAP), INC.

The Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP), Inc. will hold a 3-day Convention-Seminar on the theme “ACCOUNTANTS – Towards a Common Goal for Progress” in Baguio City on April 24-26, 1974.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷

The principal objectives of the Convention-Seminar are, among others, (1) to enable the participants to keep pace with the modern trend on accounting systems and procedures; (2) to remind the participants of their responsibilities to help enhance the economic development programs of the Administration under the New Society; and (3) to bring the accounting service closer to the public.

In view of the relevance of the objectives of the said Convention-Seminar in the economic development programs of the government and to provide a broader perspective of and a well-rounded attitude on the responsibilities of public servants under the New Society, all heads of departments, bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send to the Convention-Seminar their Chief Accountants, Accountants, Heads of Accounting Units, and regular members and/or preparations for the Convention-Seminar, on official time with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, including seminar fees, chargeable against the funds of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. The participants who are stationed in Baguio City shall be entitled to seminar fees and reasonable transportation expenses only.

The participants shall submit a report to their respective agency heads on their participation and/or attendance in the Convention-Seminar within thirty (30) days upon the termination thereof.
