[ Memorandum Circular No. 712, March 6, 1974 ]

DIRECTING ALL NATIONAL AND PROVINCIAL OFFICIALS IN THE PROVINCE OF MAGUINDANAO TO TRANSFER AND HOLD OFFICE IN THE CAPITAL OF THE PROVINCE AT MAGANOY.

WHEREAS, Presidential Decree No. 341 dated November 22, 1973 created the Province of North, Maguindanao and Sultan Kudarat;

WHEREAS, the Decree ordered and decreed that the capital of the Province of Maguindanao shall be Maganoy; and

WHEREAS, there is an urgent need to accelerate the development of the Province which comprised the municipalities of Buldon, Parang, Sultan Kudarat, Tumbao, Upi, Dinaig, Ampatuan, Sultan sa Barongis and the new town of Datu Paglas, to improve the peace and order condition in the area and hasten the return of the evacuees threat to their respective homes.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷

WHEREFORE, all national and provincial officials in the Province of Maguindanao are hereby directed to transfer and hold office in the capital of the Province at Naganoy.

This Circular takes effect immediately.
