[ Memorandum Circular No. 684, November 27, 1973 ]

AMENDING MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 679, DATED 19 NOVEMBER 1973, “DIRECTING ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AND THE OFFICERS AND MEN OF THE ARMED FORCES TO SUBMIT THROUGH OFFICE/UNIT HEADS LAND OWNERSHIP DECLARATION.”

WHEREAS, many requests have been received by this Office asking for extension of time for submission of land ownership declaration, as required under Memorandum Circular No. 679, dated 19 November 1973;

WHEREAS, government personnel concerned who are stationed in remote areas of the country, and for lack of the necessary forms, have not been able to meet the deadline specified in the said Circular; and

WHEREAS, it has become necessary to extend the time within which prospective declarants should be required to submit and furnish accurate information on the extent of their ownership of tenanted rice/or corn lands, as required by the said Circular.

WHEREFORE, Memorandum Circular No. 679, dated 19 November 1973, is hereby amended so as to extend the deadline for submission of duly accomplished forms required therein to December 15, 1973.1âшphi1

This Circular takes effect immediately.
