MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 677-a, November 12, 1973 ] ENJOINING ATTENDANCE OF ALL CONCERNED IN THE WORKSHOP CONFERENCE OF THE COMMUNITY CHEST OF GREATER MANILA. The Community Chest of Greater Manila will conduct a workshop conference on “How the Community Chest can be strengthened to be more relevant to the community” to be held at the Conference Room of the Community Chest of Greater Manila, 815 Remedios St., Malate, on Friday, November 23, 1975, starting at 7:30 A.M. In order to obtain a broader range of opinions on the subject, it is imperative that a sizeable representation from various offices of the government participate in the conference to discuss the implementation of our national welfare program by making social welfare services available to the underprivileged and disadvantaged.7!ᕼdMᗄ7 All heads of departments and bureaus of the national and local governments, including government-owned or controlled corporations, indicated in the attached list are hereby enjoined to send one (1) delegate each to the said conference on official time, with reasonable expenses for transportation as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593, series of 1972, chargeable against the funds of their respective offices, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance and participation in the conference within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.
