MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 673, October 16, 1973 ] EXCUSING FROM OFFICE GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL IN THE GREATER MANILA AREA THIS AFTERNOON, OCTOBER 16, 1973 DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.ᇈWᑭHIL The announcement issued by this Office and disseminated through the radio and the telephone, excusing from work officials and employees of government offices within the Greater Manila Area except those engaged in relief, rehabilitation and rescue operations, as well as communications and public utility services and the necessary personnel of the Weater Bureau, beginning 1:00 P.M. this afternoon only, October 16, 1973, due to inclement weather caused by the typhoon, is hereby confirmed. Undertimes incurred today by the employees are hereby condoned but those who did not report to office this morning are considered absent the whole day. By authority of the President: (SGD.)
