PROVIDING A LIST OF VEHICLE MODELS AUTHORIZED FOR ASSEMBLY BY FIRMS PARTICIPATING AND REGISTERED UNDER THE PROGRESSIVE CAR MANUFACTURING PROGRAM (PCMP) FOR THE GUIDANCE OF ALL CONCERNED.
Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 624 dated February 19, 1973, requiring all departments, bureaus, offices and agencies of the Philippine Government, including government-owned or controlled corporations, to purchase their passenger car requirements from those approved under the Progressive Car Manufacturing Program (PCMF), the following list of vehicle models authorized for assembly by firms participating and registered under the PCMP, is hereby issued for the guidance of all concerned.

The Ford Fiera is not a vehicle model made under the PCMP since it is not classified as a car; it is however made with local content exceeding PCMP requirements, and shall be considered eligible for purchase under the said Circular.
