CREATING A COMMITTEE TO IDENTIFY IDLE LANDS WITHIN A RADIUS OF FIFTY (5) KILOMETERS FROM MANILA
In view of the pressing need to determine and pinpoint the idle lands available for government projects in the Greater Manila area and its surrounding provinces, there is hereby created a Committee on lands composed of the following:

The Committee shall have the following functions:
1. Locate, identify and gather basic information on government and private idle lands within a radius of fifty (50) kilometers from Manila.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
2. Define the term idle lands and formulate a set of criteria for classifying land as idle.
3. Study and recommend alternative uses for such idle lands.
The Committee is hereby authorized to create such Sub-Committees as may be necessary to assist it in the performance of the foregoing functions. It shall submit its report of accomplishment within a period of one (1) month.
All heads of departments, bureaus, offices and instrumentalities of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby requested to extend full cooperation and assistance to the Committee to insure the accomplishment of its task.
