URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE ELEVENTH ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE BUREAU DIRECTORS’ ASSOCIATION, INC. (BUDIRAS)
The Bureau Directors’ Association, Inc., which is composed of top career service officers in the Government will hold its 11th Annual National Convention in the Greater Manila Area on June 26, 27 and 28, 1973. The Convention theme will be: “P-L-E-D-G-E-S: A Challenge to BUDIRAS.” By way of emphasis and for purposes of refreshing the memory of BUDIRAS members, P-L-E-D-G-E-S denotes:
P-eace and order;
L-and reform;
E-conomic development;
D-evelopment of moral values thru educational reform;
G-overnment reorganization;
E-mployment and manpower training; and
S-ocial services.
This year’s convention theme of the BUDIRAS is timely and significant considering the need to stress upon the members of the BUDIRAS the role they are called upon to discharge to not only ensure but also accelerate the attainment of the above-mentioned goals and objectives of the New Society.
In view of the foregoing, all members of the BUDIRAS are hereby authorized and urged to attend the said Convention on official time provided that no government expense is involved in connection therewith except the payment if convention fees, chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
