URGING NOMINATION OF PARTICIPANTS FOR THE TRAINING PROGRAM IN DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AT THE SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES.
In order to accelerate the attainment of the board economic and social goals set by the Administration for the New Society, it is imperative that efforts be exerted to the fullest extent to strengthen and improve the economic planning staffs in key government agencies, both national and local.
To this end, all departments, agencies, and subdivisions of the Government, including regional planning authorities and government-owned or controlled corporations are hereby urged to sponsor officials and employees with suitable basic qualifications to participate in the continuing training programs in Development Economics at the School of Economics, University of the Philippine. The participants shall be on official time for the duration of the training and shall be entitled to transportation and meal allowances chargeable against the funds of the offices concerned subject to the availability thereof and the usual audit.
The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads monthly reports on their attendance and participation in the training program.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
This supersedes Memorandum Circular No. 440 of this Office dated March 2, 1971 on the same subject matter.
