MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 613, January 3, 1973 ] DESIGNATING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY AS OVER-ALL COORDINATOR OF ALL ACTIVITIES TO BE HELD IN OBSERVANCE OF THE 50TH YEAR OF THE PUBLIC ACCOUNTANCY PROFESSION IN THE PHILIPPINES. Under Proclamation No. 1077, dated September 15, 1972, the year 1973 was declared National Accountancy Year to mark the 40th year of the Public Accountancy Profession in the Philippines. To insure a successful commemoration of this event, made more significant by the fact that our country is considered to have the more advanced profession among the other countries in the Far East and Southeast Asia, the Chairman of the Board of Accountancy is hereby designated to take charge of the coordination and initiation of activities of both the government and the private sector in observance of this milestone of the local accounting profession. As such coordinator and in charge, he may avail himself of the assistance of Government agencies and personnel and other professional organizations whenever it is deemed necessary.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷ Done in the City of Manila this 3rd day of January in the year of Our Lord nineteen hundred and seventy-three.
