ENJOINING STRICT OBSERVANCE OF GENERAL ORDER NO. 4 DATED SEPTEMBER 22, 1972, MAINTAINING AND ENFORCING A CURFEW THROUGHOUT THE PHILIPPINES BETWEEN THE HOURS OF TWELVE MIDNIGHT AND FOUR O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING.
It has been brought to the attention of this Office that certain local officials have issued orders prescribing curfew hours in their respective jurisdiction different from these prescribed in General Order No. 4 dated September 22, 1972. For the information, guidance and compliance of all concerned, General Order No. 4 which was issued in pursuance of Proclamation No. 1081, orders that a curfew be maintained and enforced throughout the Philippines between the hours of twelve midnight and four o’clock in the morning and does not authorize any local official to change the same.
Accordingly, all concerned are hereby enjoined to desist from prescribing different curfew hours in their respective jurisdictions unless prior clearance therefor is secured from higher authorities.1âшphi1
