TEMPORARILY CHANGING THE OFFICE HOURS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES IN THE GREATER MANILA AREA.

In order to help solve or relieve the worsening traffic congestion in the Greater Manila Area, which is prejudicial to the public service and the riding public, the office hours of offices and agencies of the Government, including government-owned and controlled corporations, in the Greater Manila Area are hereby temporarily changed, to wit, from nine o’clock in the morning to twelve o’clock and from twelve-thirty to five-thirty in the afternoon.

This Circular shall take effect beginning Monday, July 24, 1972, until further advice.1âшphi1
